Humans... so easy to manipulate, so tender, but in the same time - a necessity.

Standing at the top of the Statue of Liberty, watching at the breaking dawn, listening to the sound of the world...

I've been to so many places - Petra in Jordan, Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, The Great Sphinx of Giza, Grand Canyon, The Eiffel Tower, The Parthenon on the Acropolis of Athens in Greece, The Taj Mahal in India, the Trevi Fountain in Rome... I could count for hours, but it doesn`t matter because these are only places, statues, monuments, buildings... nothing more. They can't bring you happiness, and in my life I've seen too many things to be argued with.

The name is Hope, I was born in 1333 in Voltera, Italy. My father was an assassin but externally he looked like just an ordinary man. While I was growing he taught me everything he knew but when I was 17 both my parents died.

That day my real life started. I was an orphan with deadly skills. A few months after my parents' death, William, a close friend of my father's found me and suggested me to work at his mention if I wanted. And I did so. William knew my father had trained me and started bringing me with him on his missions and continued my father's trainings. Eventually I became the best assassin.

When I was 23 one of my assignments was a 30-years-old man, or at least he looked at that age. His true age was 580 and his name was Derek Wayne. He was a threat to my chief`s wife, so they sent the best to kill the worst. He expected me to come and for my surprise fought with me. After an hour or two of fighting I became distracted for a split second and he pressed me against a column.

I thought he'd kill me but instead he offered to make me immortal: "Treasure like you shouldn't waste her tallent working for others, you should be a queen", he said. "I can make you a queen, an immortal, all you have to say is yes." I didn't know what he meant by 'immortal' but three days later I went to him with the answer. It happened very quickly - he bit me, I drank his blood, he killed me and when I returned to life I was different. My sences were even more irritable than before, my skin was smoother, my hair was shiny, my teeth were white and I had fangs. Derek was old and powerful, he gave me the world and I took it.
260 years after my transformation I decided to leave Wayne`s estate and to discover the world all by myself.

And that's how I have started to travel and I have never stopped since that day. The whole world is my home and I am my own family.
